Munich was our second international holiday together – we were becoming jet-setters.!

When we arrived in Munich, we caught the train from Munich airport to the centre of Munich where we checked in to our hotel for four nights which gave us three full days.

On the first day, the first place that we visited was the Rathaus-Glockenspiel at Marienplatz. After that, we had a look around the food market at Dreifaltigkeitsplatz in order to sample the local food. Then, for the rest of the day, we explored the city centre.

On the second day, we spent the whole time visiting the Deutsches Museum which was very interesting and very big. Even though we spent the whole day there, we still never got round all of the exhibits but we really enjoyed what we did get to see.

On the final day, we visited the BMW museum and the Olympic Stadium and Park. We spent a couple of hours in the BMW museum which had some great displays and then we headed over to the Olympic Stadium and Park where we admired the views of Munich from the Olympic Tower and soaked up the atmosphere in the Olympic Stadium.
